Dr. Kate Sydney explains, “we don’t address things until they become a disease…We’re either not thinking about our breasts at all or we have breast cancer, and nothing in between. It’s important to address these blank spots in our education.”

Dr. Kate Sydney is an acupuncturist, doctor and herbalist who runs a practice called Tend Natural Health in Portland, Oregon. She is also the owner of a Paleo Cookie delivery business called Morsel Code Cookie Co which recently debuted a seed cycling cookies for women’s health. She recently teamed up with her friend and colleague Mandy Ashlock who is a therapeutic massage and bodywork practitioner to create a course on breast health. Amanda has training in numerous healing modalities including craniosacral therapy, holistic pelvic care and pre and post natal massage. Mandy owns a practice in NW Portland, Earth Over Air, and is a member of the Portland Wellness Collective. She is also completing an herbal studies program through the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, and beginning studies for licensing in Acupuncture.
